Audrey earned her PhD in Biostatistics from Boston University and then moved to Cambridge, England for a post-doctoral fellowship in statistical genetics at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute working on the UK10K Project. Throughout her career she has been fortunate to work on interesting topics and applications related to Huntington Disease, obesity, next-gen sequencing, gene expression, GWAS, mouse studies, and human brain studies with talented researchers at Boston University, the Sanger Institute, and Massachusetts General Hospital among others. She has recently begun collaborations with researchers throughout the University of Colorado system on several projects including the genetics of common facial variation, and somatic instability as a precursor to cancer. Audrey’s interests center around big data in the context of health and disease.
